Our main goal is to raise money for lymphoma specific research focusing on Follicular and Diffuse Large B-Cell treatments. These are just two of the 90+ subtypes of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
We use the donations from this annual fundraiser to fund a grant through the Lymphoma Research Foundation that is dedicated to exploring better treatment options that could lead to better response rates, less toxicity, and an overall better quality of life, for the patient, during treatment.
Our commitment for this grant is $30,000, and we need your generous support to reach this target. If you are able to donate, please see the "Donate Now" button just below. 100% of your donation is tax-deductible. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Your contributions will enable us to meet our goal, and ultimately find better treatments and hopefully a cure. (Donations of $150+ will be invited to the VIP Event). Preferred donation method is Zelle (mattrunge@rungelymphomaproject.com), or Click the Donate Now button below for PayPal.
I was originally diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Follicular Lymphoma back in 2010. I had no idea what this was or how I got it, and me and my family were scared. For better or for worse, today I do know much more about lymphoma. I became heavily involved in the Lymphoma Research Foundation volunteering my time and raising over $100K during the last decade.
I wanted to take my passion for raising awareness and donations for this disease to the next level by starting my own foundation. The Runge Lymphoma Project is a non-profit organization 501 (c) (3). We have partnered with the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF), and donations will go towards funding the Runge Lymphoma Scholar. I am pleased to announce that Dr. Jason Romancik is the recipient of our inaugural grant. This grant is a two-year commitment, and we have funded the initial year. We now need to raise money for year two.
About the Project: Dr. Romancik’s project, Acalabrutinib and Obinutuzumab in low tumor burden indolent non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, will investigate a new, non-chemotherapy approach for indolent non-Hodgkin lymphomas using quality of life assessments in patients with a low burden of disease. His lymphoma focus is B-cell indolent lymphoma, including follicular, mature B-cell, and marginal zone subtypes.
